Fire at Syracuse apartment building spreads to multiple floors and roof

Syracuse, N.Y. — A fire at a Syracuse apartment building Saturday afternoon has displaced eight people, firefighters said.
When firefighters responded to the Croly Street Apartments at about 4:20 p.m. there were reports of people trapped inside, according to Capt. Phillip Vogt, a spokesperson for the Syracuse Fire Department.
